I'd been told that on no account was I windsurfing today, so it was a very pleasant suprise when my youngest nipper, without bribery, suggested going to Camber. They wanted to take lots of beach toys, so I put in my bid for my own.

Turned up at the dunes at about 12.30, set the family up in a sheltered, but still blustery little dugout in the dunes and then skipped off to rig a 4.5 - which had been selected for me by a new text rigging guide service supplied by RichC (cheers dude). I was all on my tod up at the dunes and I could see lots going on at Jurys, but other than a slightly annoying walk out to the water, the conditions were brilliant. I only got just over an hour in, but my sailing was really together, so lots of frontside rides, duck gybes, tacks, big airs - just bloody lovely to be honest. If Jurys was as good, then there'll be lots of happy people on here later.

Managed to pack up before the family got cheesed off waiting, so pretty well organised day.

One very happy punter here - especially after yesterday's crappy session.
